When you go to a very important meeting, you're careful to choose the right clothes (you don't want to look inappropriate), you pick out the right material to present, and once there you will also resort to your very best communication skills to convey your needs and desires. What happens when a text is representing your company or yourself? Whether it is your website, your marketing copy, your product manual or even a simple letter, you want it to be perfect!
So you would like to translate that marketing copy for your new partners, you want them to feel motivated and thrilled to join you in new opportunities, you want your text to speak for your needs. You want your website to sell your products and to make them attractive to customers.
Working with a text has to do with understanding both the source and target language cultures, as well as details concerning structure, vocabulary and style. What makes a text interesting is often not only its content, but its style. Definitely, you will always want your text to sound natural and fluent, without the awkward turns of an automated translation, which is like reading two texts in one.
